After a 2018 bond measure for the Sequim Library expansion narrowly failed by 1.4%, the North Olympic Library System (NOLS) decided to move forward with the project without additional taxes. Funded by grants, timber revenue, and community donations, NOLS launched a fundraising campaign to support the new library and rally local engagement.
Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager, Marketing Lead, and Executive Director, I served as the campaign’s primary graphic designer. I applied NOLS’ established brand system while introducing a fresh color palette inspired by the new library’s architectural renderings. Deliverables included a bifold newsletter, donor letters, a postcard, printed envelopes, and digital signage — all designed to build excitement and trust within the community.

InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom
The campaign, tracked from September 15 to November 15, 2024, raised over $550,000. The outpouring of community support was incredible, and it’s rewarding to know this work directly contributes to a lasting public resource. The new Sequim Library is set to open soon.
